(More customer reviews)Sure the 7750 movement is in 1000 different watches, but pretty much every one of them is more expensive than this one.
Found this at a local jewelery store and was amazed at the quality for a <$1000 watch with a 7750.And getting one here for under $600 is just icing. If you've wanted a more classic 7750 watch, this is a great buy.I have to specify "classic" in this case since so many of the 7750 watches are more sporty.

Product Description:
A great match for both professional settings and sporty casual couture, this Accutron Gemini stainless steel men's chronograph (model 26C02) matches an elegant design with the powerfully precise, 25 jewel Valjoux 7750 automatic movement. This large-sized, round watch features a rounded, stepped bezel that frames a black patterned dial face. It's complemented by three chronograph subdials, luminous dagger hands, small minute/seconds indexes, large day and date window at 3 o'clock, and tachymeter readings around the exterior (which can be used to measure time over distance). It's completed by a brown leather strap with distressed texturing. Other features include a domed, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, screw-back with exhibition window, and water resistance to 50 meters (165 feet)--suitable for swimming but not for diving.
An automatic (or self-winding) watch is fitted with a device (rotor) that automatically winds the spring by using the force of gravity. It needs no battery, but it will stop if you have been physically inactive for an extended period of time--as long as you're moving, the watch will stay powered. Swiss watchmaker Abraham-Louis Perrelet invented the self-winding mechanism in 1770. It worked on the same principle as a modern pedometer, and was designed to wind as the owner walked.
