(More customer reviews)This is my 4th timex tx. I had 2 timex TX 730's and one timex TX 770 with an orange dial. I got rid of all those watches and decided to keep just one Timex TX for my traveling and my weekend wear. I got the orange strap replaced with a black one which is what I wanted but bought this one as it was on sale.
The watch gives a second time zone which is essential for me as I have family in another country so I can know at once what time it is before I call them.
The compass works beautifully and is very rare to find in a watch.
I love all the features that the watch has and once you figure out how to use it, is very simple. Very rare to find a compass, 2nd time zone, stop watch all in a quartz.
Reason I got rid of the other watches: TX 730- although a great dress watch, I find it too flashy. I guess I have matured over that and am moving towards high end luxury watches.
I got rid of the TX with the orange dial because I wanted an ordinary looking watch which would not attract too much attention when I am traveling and not look too sporty for work
When buying this watch, I had a tough choice between this a Tag F1 and chose this because I felt you got more value for money. I understand Tag is a better brand but the F1 is a regular quartz, it makes sense to buy a Tag for the higher end watches and the swiss movement which is not present in the F1.
The quality of this is as good as the Tag F1 however a metal band is not available on this product.
