(More customer reviews)Although I didn't buy this watch on Amazon, I like mine so much I felt compelled to write a review.
First of all, this watch is big, heavy, and chunky, with a heavy linked ban and a thick case. All on purpose, and part of the styling, so don't take that description as a complaint. But if larger, heavier watches don't appeal to you, read no further. It has a wonderful, solid feel, with attractive machined screws holding the band together, and a nice carbon fiber weave on the face. The only minor complaint would be that the movable part of the bezel surround for using the tachymeter is plastic, not metal. However, that did allow them to give it a smoked coloring, while still transparent, making it easier to see the numbers. It is also unidirectional, something I think all watches of this type should be. The buttons are substantial, with ribbed collars, including the crown, which is a screw down type. Again, giving it a beefy, military look that it was designed for.
As far as the mechanism, everything works fine on mine. I don't use the chronograph functions all that much, but they worked flawlessly. The luminosity of the hands are amazing, very similar to Luminox watches. You can't miss it at night!
Some may have a problem with it being a quartz watch, and not automatic, but it keeps excellent time, so I enjoy not having to reset it each time I don't wear it for a couple of days. And as for price......you can spend a LOT more money, and still get an inferior quality watch.
