(More customer reviews)I love this watch!It has a sapphire glass on its front and back (clear case to see the eta 2824-2 movement). Its bezel is uni-directional in the anti-clockwise direction. It has a screw down crown with a letter 'H' on it. You can manually wind the spring by unscrewing the crown then turn it clockwise.There's a safety mechanism that will prevent over winding. There's a silver dial variation but this black one looks better as you can see the numbers more clearly.I like the big numerals also because it gives it a bold look.The second hand has a red arrow tip.The 4 octogons near the lugs cannot be turned.They have no functional purpose besides decorative,which also gives it an interesting shape--it's a round face yet looking a little squarish.The stainless steel strap has some gaps between each links to allow evaporation of perspiration when worn.It is secured by a double folding deployment buckle. Though it's a 42mm case,it looks great on a thin wrist.In fact you can remove enough links to fit a thin wrist so it wouldn't be loose.Take note that the pins that connect the links of the strap is the screw in kind so don't be knocking them out when adjusting the strap.Only the markings from the triangle at 0 o'clock to 3 o'clock on the bezel is luminous.All the markings and numbers and hands on the dial are luminous.The date changes at 12 midnight sharp.The bezel,crown and centre of strap are polished steel.
All in all,it's a great-looking watch with a stable/robust/reliable movement.Fits great and feels comfortable on the wrist. No regrets getting this piece.
