(More customer reviews)I just bought this watch a couple of weeks ago and so far I have no regrets. My previous watch was a Fossil, so this is a major upgrade.I was a little bit unsure about paying $650 for a watch since I could lose it or break it.However, I am definitely enjoying my new TAG.I thought that when you consider that it will probably last 10 or 20 years (possibly even more), $30-$60 a year to own a TAG isn't that much money.
Two helpful notes that I wish I had known right when I received this watch:
1.If you want to turn the dial on the top that serves as a timer for diving, it is much easier if you push down rather than turn from the sides. It's more of a push and turn than squeeze the sides and try to turn.
2.The crown has to unscrew before it can pop out. When you want to adjust the time/date on a lot of other watches, you just pull the crown out to different positions. This watch requires you to unscrew the crown from a tight position to make adjustments. You should make sure you screw it back in properly before submerging it, the watch IS NOT WATER RESISTANT if the crown is not fully tightened.
I guess this is in the instructions but it took me a couple minutes to figure it out.You don't want to damage the watch by trying to pull the crown out while it is screwed in.
